After the sleep-inducing Loboc river cruise, we made three last stops at a sort of zoo, a church, and a monument by the sea.
For a tourist attraction, it’s not that well-kept. My bad foot had trouble with the uncemented dirt path that kept me nervous as we went around (when will the uneven roads end?!). There were a few caged civet cats, baby crocodiles, and birds, but the main attraction, the huge python, is inside a cage with an open door. You can have a picture with it. Nope, didn’t do it! Maybe I was already tired as this was almost the tail end part of the tour. Okay, it was mainly because it’s still creepy to go in and be beside the monster-sized creature! After seeing Prony, we dropped by the Baclayon church.
It smelled moldy. The mother butlers had to lend me a piece of cloth to cover my bare arms (sleeveless tops are prohibited). There was a church museum of relics that we didn’t go into because it had an entrance fee and because it felt like just a display of statues of saints. Off we went to our last stop!
The best thing about this last stopover was the pretty view of the ocean. I was too lazy to remember my Philippine history to remember who the men are and why they made a blood compact, haha. This ends the countryside day tour that the resort arranged for us. It was a naturally tiring but really nice tour. I can’t wait to go back and do a different tour. There’s an adventure park in Danao!
